An excellent well paced edition from the original. So much excess footage was trimmed down that this edit's duration felt fairly close to Goldfinger. The narrative was given more efficiency for example switching the later scene with Deval's body and Lippe's henchmen earlier gives continuity to Bond's investigation with Spectre after the fight with Jacques Bouvar instead of Bond and Lippe both meeting coincidentally. The transitions were surprisingly well placed and no video error artifacts occurred while watching this edit. It deserves to be watch for fans who dislike the extended duration of the original.

I haven't seen the original version of Thunderball so I can only give my opinion on this movie as if it was the original and instead compare it with the previous. I liked the first two movies despite some flaws but "Goldfinger" balanced all of its tropes, themes, and gimmicks well which was very good and is considered this peak of not just the Sean Connery movies but the entire eon-era franchise too so to capitalize that they made "Thunderball" as the most ambitious but flawed successor compared to its predecessor based on from what I see from the reviews because it wanted to do too much by outmatching "Goldfinger" in everything which I have seen done in many other franchises from before. But Lapis Molari perfectly fixes this movie into becoming the movie, not just a worthy successor to "Goldfinger" but also as good as "Goldfinger" too. The editing, especially with the underwater scenes, flows so well with the story naturally that I couldn't tell if it was fan-edited and compare some scenes to the original to see if there were any mistakes but there was completely none on Lapis Molari side so this will be my go-to version of "Thunderball" from now on.

A much-improved update on an already enjoyable but nonetheless flawed entry in the Bond series. Perfectly paced, seamlessly cut, and visually crisp. A must-see for any 007 fan.

This edit does exactly what it sets out to do by fixing lengthy scenes that just needed trimming. I really appreciate a fix that looks like there was no edits done. Thunderball finally moves along at a good Bondian clip.

I saw no bad edits and the quality of the video looked excellent. This will be my go to edit as I always looked at this film as overlong and a bit boring. So if you are a Bond fan and have being looking for a streamlined version then this is the one to see.
