The opening prologue is a little choppy visually, but otherwise this works well and I didn't pick up on many transitions. There did seem to be a number of audio pops throughout though. The source is an old film and the audio is quite muffled, so I'm not sure if the pops come with the territory.

The ending is abrupt, but in fairness, Bakshii's LOTR never covered the entire trilogy and never got a proper follow-up. What's here is enjoyable and works well enough, boiling the epic story down to something quite short and simple that focuses on Golem and the hobbits (Peter Jackson - 9 hours vs. Adabisi - 15 minutes! ;) ). The credits are also followed by a short musical montage with animated footage drawn from another animated adaptation, This was a nice way to make up for the "missing" end to the edit.
