Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back: Revisited

Words cannot express the joy this edit brought me.

If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it already. This edit is my permanent go-to for ESB.

Pros:
- Fixing many errors in the original movie.
- Re-rotoscoping all of the laser blasts and light sabers for consistency.
- Re-editing of many scenes.
- Complete color correction.
- And much, much more!

Cons:
- None!

Conclusion:
The Empire Strikes Back is the single best Star Wars movie out there (if not the best movie ever made), and this is currently the best way of viewing it! I could only find a 720p version, but this didn't influence my enjoyment in the slightest. I do wish there was a 1080p version somewhere so I can watch this on my big screen. The editing is on par with the original crew itself. The music, the sfx, everything about this screams a 10/10 for me. Not just because it is ESB, but because of all the stuff this editor did. If you are going to watch ESB for the first time, or for the 100th time, do yourself a favor and watch this version. Bravo Adywan and team, Bravo!

A near-perfect edit of "The Empire Strikes Back", and I only say "near-perfect" because there needs to be an edit without Luke and Leia's incestuous Sweet Home Alabama kiss! Other than that, it is technically flawless, and a wonderful marriage of the best of the original and the best of the Special Edition with even more VFX improvements. Dare I say, what the Special Edition ESB should have been!

Highly recommended, and my go-to ESB from now on!

empire is in my top 5 movies, ever. and adywan's has become my definitive version. the sfx inclusions are incredible, and subtle, which is a must when we muck with pieces of film history like this imo. the level of craft here is extraordinary.

the real prize for me is the synthesising of the best parts of the theatrical ESB and the special editions: empire with ian mcdiarmid, jason wingreen, "bring my shuttle.", and the bespin balconies is magical. thank you adywan!

my only complaint is that the changes to yoda's face bother me. the degobah sequences are the best part of this film and i love the rough-around-the-edges stuff for yoda. this is the only change that isnt seamless and takes me out of the movie.

This is my favorite movie of the OT, so i'm a bit suspect and was also very expectant to see Ady's magic in action.
AWESOME! He nailed it has usual, and made this so long waited edit finally ready. There are surely a few fixes and things he missed but with all of us fans support, we can help him improve even further for when he releases it with menus and all, like ANH:R.
I won't say much more, i only say this: GUYS, CHECK THE BEST STAR WARS EDIT YET, FOR YOURSELVES =)))
