The best Star Wars sequel gets better. 'How the Special Editions should have been', indeed.
Adywan's edit is a remarkable achievement; in my opinion, even more so that what he did with Episode IV. Even what criticism I do have (removal of SE wampa changes) is so minor by comparison to the accomplishments of this edit that in my opinion it shouldn't affect the score. It just brings a different vibe to the scene.
There are innumerable changes, visible and invisible, that speak to his dedication. My personal favorites: lightsaber retractions during scenes. Such a little thing, but so appreciated.
If you love Empire Strikes Back (and chances are you do), what else are you waiting for?
