Star Wars: The Coaxium Heist

This was a fantastic watch, as the editor strengthened the overall storyline and produced some great visuals throughout the entire film. I highly recommend this, as it converted a decent experience into a great one!

„The Coaxium Heist“ by DigModiFicaTion turned a film I didn’t like at all into a fast paced, fun action adventure. It removes almost everything that annoyed me (or color corrected it) and makes me wish more spin-offs would have been made if they can be turned like this.

Not sure if it was the lockdown or else but I was sucked into the fan edit world and the first-ever real fan edit I saw was DigModiFicaTion Star Wars: The Coaxium Heist.

Solo is not a bad movie. Actually, it has a lot of positive aspects. Great action, stunning effects and acceptable pacing. But still, it never felt like a Star Wars movie. The movie is plagued with weird humor, confusing subplots and awful colors. Glad DigModiFicaTion took it upon himself to fix the above issues and provide us with the best possible version of Solo.

The custom crawler really makes a difference from the start. The color changes are more in line with the Star Wars universe and the pacing is better streamlined. Not to mention the weird and dull humor having been cut. Which makes this version of Solo the best possible around.

Solo was a flawed movie but one I enjoyed none the less.

Bogged down by misplaced humour, unnecessary side plots, over saturated colors and lacking a genuine Star Wars feeling it wears its troubled production history on its sleeve and is very much a diamond in the rough. The Coaxium Heist takes that diamond and polishes it to a high sheen. The changes made benefit the film's pacing and streamline the narrative leaving an enjoyable, witty and decidedly more Star Wars-esque romp through a galaxy far away. The video and audio editing are both excellent and aside from one transition which used a custom image there is nothing that breaks the illusion. From when the custom crawl begins until the wipe to the credits this is very much the full Star Wars experience you've been looking for.

To me this is the definitive edition of Solo.
