Star Wars - Silent Edition: Episode VII

A really cool concept executed quite well.

The narrative comes through well enough, though I would agree that if you're not already familiar with the film this would be challenging to follow. Some of the intertitles could have been phrased better (I also could have used more intertitles myself), but it works fine as is.

Most importantly, given it's a "silent" movie, the music in this is excellent. I wish there was less downtime between tracks in certain places, but the selection of tracks is perfect as are the levels.

I'd recommend this to anyone interested in silent movies or Star Wars.

Excellent edit. Touches on the important and emotional story beats in half the time it takes to sit through the film. At times I wish there were better mixes of the music as there are moments of utter silence when a track runs out of time, but it rarely deters from the enjoyment. You don't feel lost at all.
