Review Detail

This is a very light edit of an awful but fun episode of TOS. No changes to the actual story, and light upgrades to the audio that blend perfectly, so if you like the original you'll like this. It was fun to see the episode in widescreen, and the editor has reframed as best as was possible, but unfortunately, the series tended to use a lot of close-up shots framing people's faces in the entire 4:3 image, so the crop feels a bit too tight at times, and unlike converting a widscreen image to full screen, I don't think this could be improved with Pan & Scan effects added in. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing this episode again, and dropping on Halloween weekend was a fun bonus.
