Supercharged reworking of "Back To The Future" is imaginative, inventive, best of all - fun!
Marty gets three chances to amend events that will impact his future.
The musical score has been wiped, and replaced with that of "Run Lola Run."
The narrative structure has been wiped, and replaced with that of "Run Lola Run."
This is a must-see edit for any aspiring faneditor!
Observe, learn, and broaden your ambitions, younglings.

If you haven't seen BTTF before, you're gonna be lost. However, as a fan of the series, this was a real treat to watch. Also, interesting to note, this edit, in "Running One", achieves the rare feat of telling the original backstory of BTTF, before Marty showed up, with the next two Runnings roughly covering BTTF 2 & 1 respectively.

The editing on display here is amazing. This was really slick. Score was excellently chosen. The pace is insane (in a good way). Camera clicks/flashes were very well done. So many scenes were modified and stitched together across both films into this jam-packed edit, clearly a lot of work went into this and it really shows. Great job BlueYoda.

This edit was mind blowing. There was just soo much work done here. I really liked it. The intro work was phenomenal, the B&W flash backs were great. The integration of the clock ticking was amazing.

I think the part that stands out to me most was the audio work done when confronting Biff in the 'third run', that was genius.

IMHO, this sort of editing sets the bar.

In fact, because of what I've seen here, I'm now going to seek out Blue Yoda edits.

Update
Just watched the extras bit. It was nice to see, but when I watched that line in the edit the first time, I immediately knew where the line had come from and what had been done. (sort of a fan of BTTF).

I had also thought some slight frame rate alterations may have been done to make the audio line up with the video precisely - which further backed that this was genius. Good stuff man!

Wow, what the hell was that. In a strange paradox I bet it’s near impossible to understand this short if you haven’t seen Back to the Future, while if you have it’s hard to set aside your preconceived notions of how the plot should play out. All I know for sure about this edit is that I loved it. Amazing, amazing work. Brilliant design and execution. It’s a sign that something’s great when, come the end, I’m asking for more. What more can I say? Great short.

Wow, that was really nice. Lots of creativity and skill at display in this short-movie-fanedit. I think there should be a subgenre defined for these short-movie-fanedits made out of a full length-movie. I have seen a few of these and so far this is the best one. Great idea, creatively and skillfully executed.

1 point went down in some categories because a) especially at the beginning sometimes the music was too dominant and b)it expects a bit to know the source and c) it doesn't quite fully achieve the full energy that Run-Lola achieved (but then that one had more time to develop it).

Highly recommended.
