I didn’t enjoy the original film that much, one of the main reasons being the constant chronological inaccuracies and factual mistakes, which in my opinion should be minimal in a film being presented as a biopic. These “changes” made even less sense when they actually made the story or the main character worse. The majority of fixes included in the edit are trying to fix these problems, and they work very well in that regard.

Most importantly, the quality of this edit is superb, the new / edited scenes flow very well.

Although the pacing is improved, just like in the original film something didn’t “click” for me; I believe that is due to the lack of a strong 3rd act (not much to do here, the editor has to work with the existing material). Overall, it is still an improvement over the original film.
