I commend LastSurvivor on crafting such a unique take, combining parts 3 and 6 of the Halloween franchise to make something that was greater than the sum of its parts. While the two films gel in terms of tone and theme, the lack of narrative connections or characters between the two does make for some jarring moments, augmented by the clear difference in style between each film. I suggest the fan edit for the experience alone, but Halloween 3 on its own is on my preferred watchlist.
