Nice tightening of the story here. I liked the patricide scene leaving some ambiguity as to its happenstance. It will be good to rewatch this prepared for the changes as when memorable bits are missing here and there one does tend to get hung up on those and loose the vibe somewhat. Like with the frost tending to stick the blade moment. Its neat. And may be better. Certainly will be fine for a first time viewer. This example exemplifies the aim of less talk more action employed in this fan edit. Love it. Its just hard to let go.

One thing I think may be cool. And may fit the no apologies approach. Is if at the end when the figurines get their burial in the soil hallowed with the blood of Maximus. We can still see the body of Commodus left lying there. I mean, come on. That totally fits. If that gets done I will be able to boost that narrative score. And some of the scenes may benefit from colour correction.
