Review Detail

I'm an enormous LOTR fanboy, I watch all of the extended versions every year on Christmas Day (well technically we just put it on and do Christmas around it), so I was shocked to find that this cut had actually improved The Two Towers! The changes to Faramir's character are so subtle and so good; he's become a confident, honorable leader who actively helps Frodo in his quest. The changes to the Ents are equally great and really reframes their motivations to make them a bigger force for Good. Of course, these aren't the only changes but these alone are worth the watch. I absolutely loved this, and will be revisiting this specific cut again next year!
