Brief Synopsis:
Grieving the loss of his son, Jeff is forced to play a game and placed into an inescapable hell.. Facing the ones he deems responsible, Jeff must confront the deepest parts of his psyche, and dig within to find himself in THE ABATTOIR.
The Jigsaw Anthology Series aims to cut the Saw films down to their most enthralling plots as characters are pushed to their limits and forced to play for life or death in a series of traps.
The Jigsaw Anthology Series aims to cut the Saw films down to their most enthralling plots as characters are pushed to their limits and forced to play for life or death in a series of traps.
Intention:
As with the other entries in the Jigsaw Anthology series, this edit aims to cut the film to focus on the traps, with every entry serving as a mini-sequel to the first film. This presents the film as a standalone story that can be watched in any order in relation to the other edits. The cop drama that tends to show up in many of this films, is all gone, leaving the film to focus on the game that Jigsaw sets up for the protagonists.

Cuts and Additions:
- cut everything with Lynn, Amanda, John and that whole side of the plot, so it's just Jeff's test
- cut Jeff picking up the first key, bullet and gun clip, as the edit ends after The Rack, so they're never used and not needed
- cut Jeff fiddling with the key in the Freezer trap, as he never picked it up in this edit, so it's not needed here
- edit now ends after The Rack, so it's rescored with 'Final Test'

NOTE: I understand the limitations of the footage available to you, and I have adjusted my reviews accordingly :) great job on this anthology!
This one is a near perfect edit. Like #2, it ends a little abruptly but I actually kind of like that for this one. I wonder if you could cut in a shot from one of the other movies of him leaving, since he did forgive the man who killed his kid. Either way, this one is in my top three for the Anthology! Great work!

My favorite of the first batch. A 35-minute story about loss, vengeance, and forgiveness through the eyes of a grieving father. There's everything you need to know to be fully invested, no less, no more. Perfect episode.
