If I had to choose a single word to describe this edit, it would be ‘seamless’. I watched Futons edit back to back with the original to get a good understanding of what Futon had done. I actually only noticed (with any certainty in my mind) one change, which was the major change to the 3rd act relating to Murphy and Tom. This change made the 3rd act a little less tense for me but that’s not a bad thing.. Instead this change helped me focus and ponder on the keys elements of the story at that time, rather than be distracted by the deception of Tom by Murphy. Having read the change list, it’s clear that Futon successful crafted a fantastic version of Interstellar. All those little changes just work, it kept me so engrossed that I didn’t want to analyse the edit. I just warned to enjoy and watch an entirely seamless piece of work.
