Editing Details:
The main focus of this edit was to make it into a TV-Y7 level movie. That means bringing down the intensity of the violence and toning down the horror elements at the end of the movie. This is a niché edit meant for those who don't want to show the movie to their kids in all it's Indy glory quite yet.
Cuts and Additions:
Cuts
-Trimmed boat chase scene (less punches, cursing)
-Trimmed rescuing Henry Jones (gun deaths)
-Trimmed road to Berlin (cursing, Indy grabbing Elsa's neck)
-Trimmed tank scene (less direct shots of death, triple soldier death, tank running over soldier, Indy smashing Vogel's face, Vogel's death scene)
-Trimmed the trials (no heads rolling/dead bodies, cropped shots when Henry is shot, Donovan's death scene)

I'm a huge fan of the idea of making edits of movies more family orientated. We can watch the full version ourselves but it's class to be able to sit down with kids and watch these. A lot of people have commentated that the original is a bit intense for younger viewers and this makes a fantastic job of cutting out the intense stuff without ruining the pace of storyline.
