Review Detail

This is one of the three best fan-edits I have seen so far, and it has really salvaged the film. There are no down-sides to this version. The last-minute, dated synth soundtrack has been replaced with the original John Barry score. Some of the unnecessary and irritating Beverly Hills Cop Eddie Murphy-isms have been removed. For me, this is the definitive version to watch now. I don't think The Golden Child ever knew what it wanted to be, or who for, but this fan-edit largely fixes things. Thanks!
