The focus on the love story is a good idea.
It may simplify the original story a bit too much but it works fine in and of itself.
Overall, it’s an interesting variation.

This is a very nice edit. A bare essentials cut of Drive which follows both the love plot and Standard's plot. Well chosen tracks for the rescore.

AV quality is a bit low. Editing transitions are mostly good. It cuts off a little abruptly at the end credits.

Not sure what cuddly was aiming for with this short of "Drive."
This version is certainly not a love story. More like a tone poem or mood piece.
Some of the transition edits are first rate, meaning inspired.
All editing is solid, save for the closing credits which end with a thunk.
A couple seconds would have helped.
The narrative follows Gosling's character as he befriends folks.
Scene to scene, fairly cohesive though it does not fit into this Consecution.
Don't misunderstand, I enjoyed this, but cuddly has done better work.

Excellent condensation of the original story. I really enjoyed this. It probably seems simple to take a great and stylish story and whittle it down to its essence, but I imagine it takes quite a bit of skill to find the relevant parts and bring them together in a moving way, which is a testament to thecuddlyninja’s. . . well, ninja-like editing skills. The Julee Cruise song fits so well I didn’t even notice it was an addition until I rewatched parts of the original film, and now that I’ve had a chance to compare the two, I prefer the ninja's replacement track.

The only nitpick I can offer is that the fanedit.org intro audio could have been suppressed during the mention of the scorpion and the frog.

I watched the SD version, which upscaled so nicely on my terebi that I couldn’t tell it was SD.

Good short edit.
The love story in Drive is very emotional and it's a good idea to use it for this consecution.
Technicaly it is very good but too bad I add to remove two points in "visual editing" because of the scene with the picture on the mirror.
Gosling in drinking and the next shot he is not (mirror) then back to him with the cup.
I don't remember if it was in the orginal movie or not but there you go.
Again, I liked this edit very much.
