Ha ha, one of my better drive-in experiences.
None of the, "Why'd you pick this film?" or 'I hope none of my friends see me with you."
The look of the film, aged, scratched, watched a thousand and one times by Joe Bob Briggs, was terrific. Desaturated colours were a boost, as well. Technical effects like those are easy to over blow, and he did not succumb.
All sound mixing was fine, though the volume was low overall.
I enjoyed the edit, but I'll differ from others about the extras and interviews. Every time I noticed the camera crew, or some insipid TV face, I was sucked straight out of the narrative. I didn't notice them as much as the film progressed, however.
Great job, and I must admit there were a couple trailers I fully intend to chase down.
