Falcon and the Winter Soldier: The Spence Edit, The

An excellent edit of a messy, overlong Marvel TV outing. Spence cuts it down to a manageable length and nothing of value is lost, and lots of silly Madripoorian dancing is dropped. From a swing-and-a-miss to what is perhaps inarguably the best or second-best Phase Four (tied with Shang-Chi, naturally), Spence's pacing instincts are dead-on as usual. A better Captain America 3.5 we couldn't ask for.

I wasn't really a fan of MCU's direction of making episodic series and I felt FATWS was overly bloated. This fan edit really felt like a connective standalone cinematic entry with the appropriate cuts. Average pacing, clean trims, and a more enjoyable experience.

This is really, really good. At first I thought I would miss the excellent airplane hijack scene that was cut from this edit. But after watching the movie, I realised it added nothing for the actual plot and it had to be removed to get the runtime down to a manageable time.
This is now a Marvel movie. Its what should have been released in the cinema - maybe Marvel should do just that with this release. Lets be honest, they would make 50+ million by doing so, and all the work has already been done by Spence!

I was a little skeptical of how good this edit would be. And hearing that the airplane scene was cut and so much more content was cut, I was worried I wouldn't enjoy this at all. However, I am glad I was wrong. This was really good and makes me wish it was released as an actual movie rather than a series. I think this edit proves that The Falcon And The Winter Soldier would be great as an MCU film. I highly recommend giving this a watch.

As my first entry into the world of Fan Edit's, I wasn't disappointed. Although I haven't watched this series since it aired, I think this version will be my go-to return viewing. My only nitpick, I wish Bucky's psychiatrist had more screen time with her other scenes, I enjoyed her. Also, did Zemo escape the prison that quickly in the original, I really can't remember?
Other than those little things it was very enjoyable!
