I haven't seen the original cut of this film in years so I might have forgot a lot. But I remembered I was bored and later was thinking of selling the DVD, now I'm glad I didn't. If you want to see A Man on Fire then watch this version. No questions asked. My preferred version.
Nothing that was cut is missed, telling the story from Creasy's perspective really helps, it keeps the story more focused and I'm more invested in what happens. The added quotes was a cool change. The new ending is less Hollywood and makes more sense then the "surprise" we got the first time around.
