This is a pretty straightforward edit of the old Brian de Palma cult classic. Essentially, it was made as a cheap indie and they didn't get approval to call companies "Swan" this or that, which was trademarked by Led Zeppelin. That necessitated removals of logos and things in the wide release, which are perfectly restored here. So: no distractions.
The movie itself: eh, bit hit and miss. I reviewed it in full here- https://boxd.it/66s4Zl
If you're in the market for a solid Phantom of the Paradise (re)watch, then this is your jam. The edit doesn't radically change anything, but it certainly accomplishes its aims as a faithful restoration of an old '70s flick.
