Apollo 13: The Super 8 Cut

Masterful editing. Rogue hacks away at boring filler to tell a story with grace and economy. A testament to the quality of this version: I don’t think I can watch the original again.

This is a work of art, you have managed to tell the story in a beautifully edited 17 mins.

Unlike the super condensed 400′ one reeler of yester year, which were just ‘selected scenes’ which were pointless ‘highlights’ without any real story telling, your edit starts, middles and ends, the bits missing don’t matter, top job, i’d very much like to see more proper super 8 edits of other popular movies….

Can’t really say much that hasn't already been said. This edit was top-notch.

A/V Quality – 10/10 – It’s supposed to look like junk, so no comment, except that you did a fabulous job making it look that way.

Editing – 10/10 – You totally nailed it. That is all.

Narrative – 10/10 – You just captured everything that was so great about the original and compacted it into one reel. This truly could not be better.

Enjoyment – 10/10 – The experience of watching it is like fast-forwarding through the emotions of the movie. Maybe that just sounds dumb, I don’t know. But either way, spectacular job.

Overall – 10/10
