Inspired sleight of hand with this, building from "Hi Fidelity," as Rob Gordon counts down his top five breakups.
Credit Neglify with pulling together several break up scenes from John Cusak films, with Cusak being dumped.
While I was familiar with most of the references, a couple were unknown, and there was a laugh out loud surprise.
Video sharpness, hue, varies from film to film, but the audio was clear throughout.
A doozy of an edit, especially for Cusak fans.
Thanks also for opening / closing credits.
Check out the audio commentary by Neglify and Blueyoda!

And that boys and girls is what this series is all about! What a great short! The edit jumps the shark in break-up #4 and then the shark jumps the edit in the bonus features!! Great mash-up, totally ridiculous ending, and all the French-Californian bonus points for commentary fun. Thanks Neg!

Funny, stylized, and an absolutely inspired and seamless use of multiple sources. Got a lot a laughs out of this one. The audio commentary's pretty insightful on the creation of this project - the banter between Neglify and BlueYoda is fun, too. Alternate ending is good, but Neglify made the right choice in ending the short the way it actually does.

That wa2 a wee bit fucking wild, a video gauntlet, inventive all the way. And the be2t fanedit by Chris2pher Walken ever.

Bonus points (invisible to ordinary IFDB but plain to see in the shadow realm IFDB) for retro-rad poster art.

Scrunch it, Mix Masta Neg, scrunch it.

Peculiar and brilliant. John Cusack presents his top 5 breakups in chronological order, and gives us a brief tour of his career to date along the way. The editing is great, the framing device and narrative are a lot of fun, and while it gets increasingly weird along the way it never lost me. Just great.
