Titanic: The White Star Extended Edition

A marvelous piece of work that made a piece of modern Hollywood film-making even better. Truly an epic effort by A Digital Man to restore into place all the deleted scenes. Usually putting back this much footage into a film makes it unbearably ponderous, but in this case it seems to just make the story that much richer. Much more character development now, and many of the secondary and tertiary roles are better defined as real people, which is important (especially with the historical characters i.e. Titanic’s officers) in the second half after the collision/during the sinking when we get the very best and the very worst of behavior. A big round of applause from me to A Digital Man for this 10 star fanedit.

I loved watching the deleted scenes, and I have been waiting for an edit like this. 10 out of 10.

Very well done, and the alternate (pre) ending scene was a nice touch (more Bill Paxton in a movie is alwas a plus). I understand why it was cut (because it’s working without it) but nice to see it anyway, and all the other little (and sometime longuer) added scenes were done at the right moment andthe right way.
