This edit incorporates all 29 deleted scenes as well as gives the viewer the option of the theatrical ending or the original extended ending.

v.1.5 - Adds the missing 10 seconds of a scene accidentally cut previously. Incorporates subtitles.
v1.1 - Corrects the order of two scenes
v1.0 - Initial release
Intention:
I'm a big fan of ADigitalMan's Titanic "The White Star Edition". However, this version was SD only and there were a few cuts and scene placements that felt... off. When the Blu-Ray of Titanic was released I decided I wanted to expand on what ADigitalMan had done but using an HD source. I reorganized a few scenes so the deleted scenes felt more organic, did a little re-coloring and added a branching feature to the end. (ADigitalMan provided two discs for the second half, depending on your version choice.)
Release Information:
Digital
Cuts and Additions:
All 29 deleted and extended scenes with the exception of the original ending.

The same praise and criticism that I gave ADM's "Titanic (1997) White Star Line Edition" applies here, so I'll quote it:

"Titanic (1997) is one of my favorite movies of all time, and while I enjoyed experiencing it in it's completed, uncut form, I also came to the conclusion that the theatrical version is a virtually perfect cut of the film and that many of the deleted scenes were cut for a reason. Some scenes were great, like "I'll be the first", Rose's extended meltdown, Jack walking Rose to First Class, and many of the sinking scenes. But the other scenes, like Lizzy arguing with Brock in the present day after Rose first puts on the diamond, Rose wanting to be a moving picture actress, and Jack fighting Lovejoy in the sinking First Class dining room were horrible and brought the narrative and my enjoyment of the movie down. And the alternate ending? Forget about it! That scene would have killed the film. The only thing I liked about that scene was when Old Rose saw a shooting star, it connected to earlier in the movie in the Jack walking Rose to First Class where they see a shooting star and Jack says "My pops says a shooting star is a soul going to Heaven", which sets up Old Rose's death and her reuniting with Jack in Titanic heaven."

The difference here is the superior video quality, set in gorgeous blu-ray high definition. With all due respect to ADM, if I were to watch a 4 hr Titanic '97, this would be the version I'd watch.

I always wanted to see a extended cut of Titanic, but this is the closest one.

I love the editing of this movie, in one scene, we see Jack screaming for help, then cuts to Molly Brown takes control, another we see Jack and Rose kissed in the boiler room, then cuts to the wireless operator telling the Californian to shut up, and others.

The only downside is that around 3:31:05, the audio briefly faded for a fraction of a second, right before Lewis says "We've never found anything on Jack. There's no record of him at all."

By far one of the best fan edits on this site.

Titanic is one of the few films that 100% needed an extended edition. I have been searching all over the internet for the past few weeks trying to find the extended edition, but sadly, James Cameron never released one.

Q2 has gathered all 29 (ish) deleted scenes from the film released to the public and has inserted them all into the film in an extraordinary way. The scenes fit in seamlessly and the transitions are very well executed.

My only complaints are with the gym tour scene. Q2 has put it after the tour scene on the bridge, but in the end of the gym tour scene, Andrews says that their next stop is to the bridge. But they've already been there. It's a minor issue that will go unnoticed to casual audiences, but it is a tad bit annoying when you realise it.

Also as a treat, we get to see lost footage from James Cameron's Titanic explorer, which shows collapsible B floating towards the Carpathia.

I also am not the biggest fan of the decision to shoehorn the "Rose's dreams" scene between Molly Brown/Ruth's conversation and Captain Smith/Ismay's conversation in the reception room, it think it would be better if they placed that scene before or after it, but it's only a minor issue.

The movie itself is terrific, with breath-taking visual effects, possibly one of the best romance stories ever put into film, outstanding costumes and stellar performances by Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and the large supporting cast.

Overall, this is the best Titanic fan edit out there, I highly recommend it and it is a must-see for all.

An overdue but required review...this is essential Titanic viewing.

Contrary to making the film interminably long, I find that the added scenes actually balance out the narrative and make the "voyage" more enjoyable. The work on audio and visuals is seamless as is the color work too. Overall I would recommend this over the Theatrical version - HANDS DOWN.

Nice work!
