I enjoyed it and pretty much gave it full marks because it's basically Titanic (1997) with a "the last minute twist": a joke with a 3hr set up to its punchline. I got a chuckle out of it, it was a good prank and the technical side of it was excellently done.

Can I recommend it though? Not really. Titanic (1997) is a movie near and dear to my heart, and while I can take a well-executed joke with the best of them, this is certainly not a version of the movie I'd be I'd be going back to anytime soon.

This is the only prank edit I've ever heard of, and it's awesome. I've always wanted to put something ridiculously stupid at the end of a serious movie to mess with people. Needless to say, this edit fulfills that purpose. It's also very well done! We need more edits like this!

There's a classic short story by Roald Dahl about a mother who has lost several infant children already, and is terrified of the idea of losing her newborn baby as well.

Later in the story, we learn who the baby actually is.

Well... if we crossed that short story with a rickroll, we'd get TITANIC: LAST MINUTE TWIST EDIT.

Is it worth it? Depends on your sense of humor. For being a prank edit, it's the joke with the longest setup ever. But it has a lot of trolling possibilities, and who knows, it may start a trend of edits that intentionally ruin movies at the very end.

What is true, though, is that the new ending is brilliantly achieved from a technical point of view. Impressive video tweaking job. Even if only for that, it gets 10/10 marks in all categories from me.

And I admit... I have a twisted sense of humor. I chuckled.
