I'll confine this review to those parts of the DVD presentation that didn't have their own IFDB entries...

Time-Travel-Consecution DVD Menu - This rocked. Loved the visuals and the music. Kudus to either Neglify or MG for making it. I enjoyed watching it as much as the edits.

Just In Time by DMPD - Not sure why this was disapproved. It was excellent. Extracts a clever A-Picture from a dated B-Movie.

Blue Yoda Theatre - Hilarious and oh so cleverly thought out and put together. I always knew Supes was a Douche ;-)

Trailer: His Time Machine - Much as it pains me to say it but the new modern-looking colour-timing looked badass. "Teal" and "Orange" are no longer dirty words. The trippy music was lovely too.

Trailer: Terminal 3 - I'm not in love with the use of digital FX here. After viewing the B&W inspiration recently on the same DVD, this edit idea cries out for similar monochrome simpleness. I'm still gonna download the hell out this edit when it's done though.

Future Shock: Editor's Commentary - I enjoyed this twice as much on the second commentary run through. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Run Marty Run: Making of Running 3 - To quote a certain Vulcan, "Fascinating".

Working on this collaboration was incredibly satisfying, and the end result was even more enjoyable. We have some incredibly talented and creative editors displaying their skills here. This topic really brought out some great material. From the silly to the serious, thrilling to contemplative, there's something for everyone here. Great job, everyone.

I've likely said this for every Consecution, but this is my favourite one yet. Pinkface, Run Marty Run and The New Adventures of Captain America were my favourites. Excellent work by all involved.

I did not watch the bonus materials yet, only the main Consecution Disc and I can say that I'm very impressed by the consistency in delivering the good through all those short edits. I think it's probably one of the best (if not THE best) consecution to date. I prefer some edits than some others, but I really do like them all.
Congratulations everyone.

I've watched quite a few of these shorts multiple multiple times and I'm quite happy with the overall mix of stories, genres and ways to approach a short-form fanedit. We got the fun comedies (Bill & Ted, Future Shock) and the heartfelt dramas (Chasing Moonlight, Father Time). Then you got some trippy mind-benders (Run Marty Run, New Adventures of Captain America) along with the artsy stuff (Visions of the Past, Time Waits For No One).

I watched Disc 1 with my roommate the other night (though truth be told we skipped Father Time because I was eager to show him some of the really trippy ones). He was most impressed with Run Marty Run and pinkface, and he nearly died watching Captain America and Future Shock.
