Three Effing Bears: Rambo Grindhoused

Not going to beat around the box of grenades and pretend to have some better ideas, this is a straight TEN!!!

Seeing the Grindhouse trailers of Gieferg I thought at first they were piecemeal guffaws for the purposes of laying out impossible concepts, spoofing the spoofs and tending towards the incredulous vaguenesses of dreams of fan-edits only dreamed of. In particular the Rambo and Three Bears one.... Hahaha. It turns out its a real thing. A feature length film, incorporating perfectly chosen pieces of various Rambo movies along with other iconic reels found on the cutting room floor. It all fits together seemlessly. Great movie!!!

... I will say, I am new here and am not sure what else is going round in the Grindhouse arena. I do still find it hard to believe that there can be any one-upping of this monumental achievement (in respect of a Rambo and the Three Bears fan-edit certainly). Perfected. If there is a higher bar then we need another level to grade these. Is there a GFEOAT (greatest fan-edit of all-time) award going???

Wow, this edit has it all. With the added benefit of a very convincing voice over.
On the technical front, the cutting was excellent especially the scenes including Arnold. A lot of effort went into this.
The edit even managed to fill in the gaps in the characters timeline.
Would highly recommend.

If you ever wanted to see Quentin Tarantino directing Rambo in the style of Inglourious Basterds. This is for you!

Firstly, I rated the Audio/Video Quality 6 because it's meant to be a grindhouse film, but it's 10 on the grindhouse scale!!

I freakin' loved this version of the film. As many people have mentioned before. This IS Forrest 'RAMBO' Gump.
The narrative was excellent. It kept me glued wondering where the hell is this film going next.
There are so many tasty little easter eggs scattered throughout this movie and I love that Rambo swears so much. It's awesome.
Sadly, I'm not one of those people that can easily type out reviews in the form of an essay.

I'll finish with this...

First Blood is one of my favorite movies and getting to experience watching this FanEdit was soooooo much fun.
I thoroughly recommend it.
It would also be an amazing film to watch with a group of friends having drinks.

If you looking for a for Forest Gump on steroids, you just found it. I really enjoy these grindhoused movies for a great novelty films. The only really thing negative for me in the film was at some point the music drowns out the words. Other than that this is a very fun film.
