Brief Synopsis:
This edit is about Rick Grimes trying to find his wife and son. This is an edited down feature-length film from episodes 1-3 & 6 Season One and 2 episodes from Season Two. The movie is in chronological order using the flashbacks to set up the story from the beginning. I wanted to create a live action Walking Dead comic. This edit isn't about the whole show, it is about a man that is looking for his wife and son.
Intention:
Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows and I love the comics. So I thought I could maybe create a feature length film with it. This edit is available to view in 4 different versions:

- Black and white sketch effect (To create that feel of the original comic)
- Alternate color sketch effect
- Live action Black and White
- Live action in the original color
Other Sources:
Creedance Clearwater Revival's "Who'll Stop the Rain"

Digital

I don't get it. I feel like I just watched the first 2 episodes of Season 1, mildly edited (i.e. nothing much cut out) and in black-and-white. Then it just sort of ends and there's no concept or notion of the next part. I didn't watch the comic book filter versions because of the negative reviews on that format, I only watched the B&W regular.

I liked the idea of taking that small part of a massive story, eliminating all the side stories that might won't make the ending an actual ending.
That filter was cool for the most part, but gets in the way when applied on darker scenes.
As a fan of the series I liked it, but you don't have to be a fan to enjoy it, since it's a story anyone can relate to.

This edit is actually a LOT of fun, the only problem that got to me is that there is a strange filter over it that makes it almost unwatchable. Some scenes make it look really cool and others are almost 100% white. The actual editing is done well and is very close to the comic, I hope that you may release a version that is black and white but not vectorized/filtered

This is a really interesting concept, but the execution is lacking. The comic book treatment looks great in some scenes (mainly exterior shots) and downright horrible (mainly interior shots) in others. But the narrative is strong (minus a few lines that should have been cut) and Rick's story is very engaging. I'd definitely recommend it to fans of the show and comic book. I'd love to see a non-comic book version of this.
