The Thing like never before.
I liked it a lot !

I always liked the Carpenter original and i had a week spot for the 2011 Version, which did not sit well with many.
Both films are products of the time they where made in and used effects to the best knowledge and options i guess.
But since this edit cut´s the worst CGI from the 2011 Film, i did like the T2011 even more.
Bringing those movies together is so logical and was so much fun to watch.

Seemingly mixing Video and Audio, using bits here and there, like a DJ would do it on a party night and we all would dance along!

Really enjoyed this. Seamless link between the two and my 'go-to' way of watching these underrated classics from now on.

Again! Wraith has hit it out of the park with this edit. I just watched this and I loved how both films run together, and the seamless way Wraith has merged these films. I watched this with a family member who had not seen either version and they really enjoyed it. I then let them watch both versions 82', and 11' the next day. They preferred this versions pacing of the two films, sometimes less is more.

Wraith has produced another fine edit blending a classic film the 1982 John carpenter masterpiece into the not-so-classic newer effort released in 2011. A great story told in two halves and skillfully brought into one epic Thing marathon. Much appreciation for his time and effort on this one.

This is a very good editor to a great story, excellent stuff!
