Yes to what everyone said! This edit seamlessly (save for one scene that contains green screen, but it's way in the background and isn't distracting at all) adds so much to this movie with simple 6 minutes! None of those minutes contain any sort of action that I can remember though, just character development, and that is VERY welcome! My preferred version of watching this flick now.
I absolutely adore the theatrical cut of Avengers: Age of Ultron. I think it's a genuinely fantastic film and one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's finest and most emotionally engaging installments, from its breathtaking action to its endearing character dynamics. What this fan-edit manages to add to the experience in terms of character development and story is nothing short of fantastic. Previously deleted material is integrated into the film near-flawlessly and helps strengthen the characters. It also really benefits the pacing. Things feel less rushed and the events flow much more smoothly as a result. Even when scenes enter lower quality than the rest of the picture and there's one instance of noticeable green-screen, the acting and dialogue are so good that it never takes away from the experience. I really loved this.
This edit improves on the theatrical release. Here's you definitive version!
The added scenes clarify our heroes motivations. The balance between fast-paced action and slower-paced character development shifts favorably. A very welcome improvement.
It looks great. Even the short Hill-Rogers scene with the muted green screen (it now looks like a heavy fog outside a green-tinted window).
The audio is a stereo down-mix, which may disappoint those with a surround system. It does help make the transitions undetectable between the main feature and inserted scenes.
