I really enjoyed this edit of the movie, I hadn't watched the movie in a long time so it was going to have that new movie feel anyhow and that's what I had.

It was very enjoyable to see how the movie was going to be edited (as I avoid reading that info. prior to watching). The David Bowie (and similar) music was incorporated really well, I find in certain movies especially Tarantino, soundtracks are so important that that was a bold move and worked well.

Looking forward to seeing the other Crew edits.

I hadn’t seen Inglorious Basterds in a while and this edit was a welcome fresh take on the source material. I think it had the most important elements of the story and the flow was great for how short the edit is. Nothing to say on video and audio quality, top notch. I found myself stressing quite a few times. I especially liked the flashbacks of Landa.

I copied this from my overall review of the entire series

Addtional bit. I just finished watching Episode 7. And if I didn't already say it, sometimes your forget about some parts of a movie if it's been awhile since you last watched it. And yes I forgot some parts and things about this film. The biggest being don't have lunch while you're watching..lol. All I can say is another great episode. And as I said the way all of these are edited it makes you pay closer attention. And in this one I saw Austin Powers Father and a relative of Cliff Booth? I say this because these characters had so many similar lines and mannerisms of the latter characters. I wanna give these episodes a higher score on my popcorn scale but I think that would be over kill, just like Tarantino's use of violence in his films (wink wink). Again great work and I am looking forward to seeing what the Red Apple Crew have in store for us later this year. Now I gotta go find my lunch.... I lost it somewhere

Inglorious Basterds is an unwieldy beast to trim down to around an hour, but ArtisDead managed to find a way to do it without sacrificing narrative clarity nor – most importantly – the distinct flow and energy characteristic of Quentin Tarantino's movies.

Some of the musical additions, anachronistic though they may be, are absolutely inspired and are a perfect example of how to effectively use music. ArtisDead hasn't simply thrown in songs based solely on personal taste, but clearly thought about how they can elevate what is happening in a scene.

Overall, a near-faultless edit.

"Inglourious Basterds" is a film that I consider to be nothing short of perfect. There isn't a single moment I would dare to cut from it. However, what makes this fan edit truly special is that it's not an attempt to "fix" the original, as there's nothing broken to begin with. Instead, it's a captivating reimagining of the film, cleverly presented as an episode of television. Having watched it, I can confidently say that it's every bit as perfect as its source material.

Restructuring a masterpiece like this to center it around the narrative of the Basterds is no small task. Shosanna's storyline, in particular, holds a significant place in the original, and I'm sure omitting that iconic opening scene must have been quite a challenge. Nevertheless, the new narrative structure works seamlessly. After all, it's a story about the Basterds, and ArtIsDead has managed to retell the original tale in a fresh and authentic manner that remains faithful to Tarantino's vision.

The inclusion of new music, especially the Pink Floyd, is a stroke of genius. ArtIsDead knows how big of a Pink Floyd fan I am, and the choice of music elevates the fan edit to another level.

In conclusion, a job well done. This fan edit is a testament to the creativity and passion of its creator, ArtIsDead. It breathes new life into a beloved classic, offering a unique and captivating perspective that any fan of "Inglourious Basterds" should experience.
