All I was looking for in an edit of the first Superman movie was the removal of two scenes: Lois' spontaneous mid-air poetry and our titular hero's time reversal shenanigans. I didn't realize that so much more could be cut while only serving to improve the film even further!
Let me be blunt: THIS EDIT IS PERFECT.
