Really like this cut and it compliments your Superman II edit perfectly. No cornfield which was probably my biggest gripe with the theatrical version,

I’m not always perceptive, did you cut anything referencing that Clark had been away for so long, it seemed more natural in a sense that they might’ve been too busy selling papers to realise the coincidence that Clark comes back the same time that Superman does. I like the running theme of Father and son with each new generation, which is probably why this particularly ties into the superman II cut so well.

Originally I’d have given this around 6/10
But the fan edit I’ll say is a solid 8/10

I enjoyed this edit and give it 7/10. I’d give it higher, but it just doesn’t feel different enough to me, if that makes sense. The cuts/rearrangements are there, but they don’t stand out enough to me. I still recommend this one to others and have shared it with a few, but it’s a shame that the movie itself wasn’t better. (the deleted scenes add nothing, either) Haha. I think the biggest problem is Brandon Routh. Try as he might, he’s no Superman to me. Tom Welling is far better and looks more like Superman might to me. But that’s besides the point, innit?
