A valiant effort. Batson reduces the cringe-factor of this movie. Technically, an excellent job. Sadly the narrative is so odious that it continues to ruin my enjoyment of Christopher Reeve's final performance as Superman (I really wanted to enjoy this! But the story is just too awful.).
This edit improves on the original, but remains frustrating. Watch a ADigitalMan's Superman Redeemed for a more Reeve-worthy reworking of the story.
