Star Wars is by far one of the best sci-fi franchises of all time. It was groundbreaking from the start and continued to expand it's abilities through each trilogy. To add and broaden the saga further through the fan's eyes makes it all even better.

Now Bobson Dugnutt, one of the best fan editors I have come across, has stretched the original 1977 blockbuster into what should have been in the first place. A way more solid experience that creates an original experience from a galaxy far far away.

Not only does this edit really bring out the sci fi nerd in all of us, it makes us fandom geeks want even more. And it satisfies the community beyond what to expect. It's a gratifying and honestly much appreciated.

A masterful fan edit!!

This is a solid enhancement of the existing story, with Biggs Darklighter and Luke's scenes providing the viewer with a little more insight into things rarely if at all touched upon in the theatrical SW movies. They do slow the pace of the film down, but they make for compelling viewing all the same, they're more laid back and leave you with plenty to think about. The scenes are well integrated, with appropriate music cues for much of it (though I think when we first see Luke there could have been more dramatic music for viewing the space battle).

Again, the deleted scenes are still significantly unpolished and come with many interior faults such as visible on-screen scratches...this is probably beyond Bobson's control and nevertheless, the edit remains a solid watch and a strong recommendation for any curious fans out there who want to expand their knowledge of the lore.
