This is now my preferred cut of the film. I’m interested to see the editor’s take on RotJ to align the continuity with this and the edits of Leia’s birth.

9 / 10

One of the best-ever fan edits of Episode III I’ve ever had the pleasure to see. Intelligent cuts made the pace of the film flow tremendously better, and even the addition of a couple of deleted sequences were much welcome. Of all the things I enjoyed the most, it had to be the final duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Edited into one continuous sequence, I was fairly gobsmacked at how much better it played out.

Only two things did not work as well for me: the first being (after the insertion of the first so-called “Birth of the Rebellion” scene) the jump to Padmé’s apartment (with a sudden passage of time) and, more importantly, the Emperor not appearing on Mustafar to collect the wounded Anakin. Other than those two points, everything else about this edit was near perfect.

Great job JasonN
I also would have left Leia at the end (or totaly cut Padme naming the twins) but I know your reason for that.
