Star Wars: Rise of the Rebellion - A Rogue One Edit

Now this is what should have been released in theatres! Tight, solid edit! I highly recommend this version a lot more than the original!

The movie flows much better. There are no immersion breaking character fleshing moments, excess cameos have been toned down, the wit and the humor complement the grit and emotion, and I can finally show this movie to people as the first movie in the saga. Absolutely marvelous fan edit. My go to for Rogue One. Thank you so much for the seamless work.

Fantastic work! The intention to make it more Star Wars-y is accomplished completely. This is downright solid, I have nothing at all to pick at or argue against or dissect and point out. Brilliant entertainment and for sure bumped this up my Best Star Wars Film-list. I could nitpick at a few lines that I felt were a bit too silly/too exposition-y, but they were few and far between.

Clearly a skilled editor, DigModiFicaTion is. Nothing was out of place. Stellar audio and video editing, and the removal of the name cards wasn't noticeable at all. Nothing that was removed was noticeable (which, I know, is the point). Even the removal of R2D2 & friend had me fooled in thinking that I had dreamed their appearance. And whomever the other characters were that you also removed, I didn't exactly miss them. It just seems this edit does everything right and trims the movie to a damn good experience. It was actually exciting and fun to watch Star Wars again.

Fantastic fanedit that really makes Rogue One fit in more with the rest of the saga. The opening crawl and planet titles being removed makes it feel way more Star Warsy. By far the most impressive aspect is the colour correction on Tarkin and Leia. They look simply incredible in this edition. This will definitely be my go to version for future marathons.

This is the "Rogue One" that should have been. With the planet title cards gone, and an opening crawl it feels like Star Wars again. And the new characters that once felt so dull and 1-dimensional to me really shine when you keep the focus on Jyn (No Moe Intro Version). The color correction on Tarkin and Leia is also much appreciated. No idea why Disney didn't do it themselves. Great work!
