Seamless edit. I don't even notice what's been cut or changed.
This will be my definitive version of Rogue One and the one I introduce first to my kids and friends.
Thanks for all the hard work.

Rogue one was, for the first time, something different to what we where used to in Star Wars films. I remember people around me commenting so and they where right. Unfortunately, for me, that wasn't enough to make me like it, no matter how excellent the visual effects or cinematography where. My overall enjoyment was around 5-6. At first I gave a try to "Rogue One: The Battle of Scarif" by eldusto84. Although technically an excellent edit and it actually succeeded in creating a 50min version of this movie without feeling like a mess, it was far too aggressive for me. I mean, if we didn't do that with "The Phantom Menace", we certainly didn't need to do this with this one.

Technical-wise, the audio and visual editing for "Rise of Rebellion" is excellent! I didn't notice or "feel" that anything was tampered with, in any scene. And that goes also for DigiModiFicaTion's version of this called "Survival Edition", where all the characters live at the end. So job well done here! Not that I was expecting anything less, having seen before "The Coaxium Heist" and "Thor: Ragnarok trimmed edition" by the same editor.

On the narrative side of things, which is the most important part for me, it was also a big improvement! More streamlined, less annoying parts and clever addition removing Saw looking down the secret hatch from the first time. Although, I'll have to agree with Wakeupkeo's review, that I feel the movie needed a biiit more extra trimming. It still feels too long. Otherwise, the changes where more than welcome!

So, this edit is reccomended to anyone who found the original 'ok' and above. If you did, this will be your go-to version! To anyone who did not like the original at all, I don't think this will do anything for you.

Thank you DigiModiFicaTion, thanks to anyone who read my review and may the force be with you!

Seamless edits which were subtle but allowed for the flow of the movie to work. I did not see any jaring changes and was impressed with the quality of the edit. There still seems some slower parts but I think that is innate to the overall plot.

Rogue One: a Star Wars story came out December 2016 with a slew of, well mixed reviews. True no one I knew hated it but most felt disappointed with the film nostly due to not caring or knowing much about our main heroes, dodgy CG recreations of two classic characters, and a supposed lack of Darth Vader. Without the aid of deleted scenes, a lot of that can be quite a challenge to tackle, and yet here comes DigModification taking that head on with some pretty good results. That dodgy CG people talk about? It's made a little better through clever recoloring in various scenes. What about our heroes? Imo, trimming down or even cutting out there backstories early on gives a sense of mystery they never really had. Darth Vader, ok nothing could be really done about that but then again he's in the film long enough (it's called having restraint). Even a few of those forced easter eggs are taken out for a smoother experience, giving us and even those on the other side of the fence something closer to that galaxy far far away

Thanks for the review and support of this project Ironman! You may be interested in the newly available "No More Intro" that slightly changes the narrative and allows us to infer as to what Cassian's faults are instead of having them blatantly shown. It's a minor revision that I believe makes this story more Star Warsy. As always, thanks for your support!

Fantastic Fanfix! As soon I watched Rogue One in the cinema I knew what could be cut to make the movie that much greater and this edit does all that.
I watched the No Moe Intro version and I like the more streamlined introductions to the characters now since the original was very jarring. I also didn't miss the title cards at all. The added music blends well with the movie since I didn't really notice them being edited in so that's always a good sign. R2 and C-3PO are a guilty pleasue which I would have loved to have seen in this film but I can live without it.

Overall its my go to version for Rogue One since it does a great job at polishing an already great movie.
