Star Wars: Episode II.V - The Separatist Conspiracy

It's a well made "shortened" version of the 2D clone wars, edited in an order that makes sense, and is enjoyable as a stand alone movie that fits in some blanks between episode 2 and 3.

Decent job at putting it all together and undoing the non sensical order from the original version.

That being said, for the sake of pacing and momentum building, some parts were left out, and I personally believe that if you have time, they are worth seeing, mainly because it features some of the main characters that had their scenes destroyed and deleted in the actual films so they kinda need all the help they can get ;).

Good edit, give it a shot if you want a more compact version that goes straight to the point and ties in nicely into episode 3 !

I am a huge fan of the original Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon, and I agree with Gleem's points on how disjointed it feels given the way that it aired. I think they did a great job cutting this down into cohesive story beats that matter to the overall plot line in the mainline Star Wars films. Many of the side stories that never get brought up again and the edit focuses in on the major plotlines that flesh out characters like General Grievous (I still remember when he was first revealed in this show and I believe it is still his strongest appearance in the entire series), Mace Windu, Obi-Wan, and Anakin.

This is definitely going into my playlist for re-watches of the Star Wars series and a fantastic first edit for Gleem to boot!
I highly recommend this edit to anyone who is interested in watching the series again or even for the first time!

This makes for a much more coherent story. The narrative now flows very well. I'm not a big fan of the original series but this is definetly the go to version people should watch.

Although it had some editing hiccups here and there, as well as at least one logical hiccup (why are the clone's still wearing the phase 1 armor even though this version of the Mace Windu vs Smasher thing battle is supposed to be set during the latter moments of the war, where the clones were supposed to have phase 2 armor?) this edit is worth watching and is a nice abridged version of a cult classic series.

I've always loved the original Clone Wars show but found it hard to rewatch. But with this edit, i finally watch it all again (well technically not all of it this time, but all the best parts) and i was hooked once again, all the way to the end. This is definitely an edit worth watching
