Now, there are two of them! But that really doesn't do this justice. While in keeping with the style of the first, and its many running gags, this one manages to surpass the original. I found myself bursting into hysterical laughter frequently. The manner in which the Fetts are handled is particularly inspired. I really don't want to go in to further detail and spoil anything. If you liked the first one, you'll love the second. If you didn't this one won't win you over. There's some odd audio mixing in certain spots, but never to the point of anything being (unintentionally) inaudible or at an inappropriate volume.

Update: The 14 month anniversary edition has corrected a frame rate issue. The disc is now properly encoded and flagged as 24p, with 3:2 pulldown. Picture detail is nice for all sources, very close to the original DVD releases.

This is a hilarious edit - probably the funniest I've ever seen. Strongly recommended if you enjoyed the first.

A/V Quality – 10/10 – No problems here.

Visual Editing – 9/10 – Making the aspect ratio consistent would have been nice, but that’s probably more personal preference than anything.

Audio Editing – 7/10 – To be honest, if this was any other edit, the audio editing rating would be even lower, but the jokes here present such a daunting audio editing challenge that I have to give you props for doing it as well as you did, even if it’s still very choppy at times.

Narrative – 9/10 – Didn't notice any especial problems with the plot, and trimming down the runtime was a good call.

Entertainment – 7/10 – It’s funny, but unfortunately I never thought it came close to the hilarity of The Ridiculous Menace. There is some really clever humor to be found, but there are also some segments that drag for a little while without anything notably funny. Or maybe those segments just didn't have my type of humor, I don’t know. Obviously a lot of work went into this, and I definitely think it’s worth watching once, even if I won’t be re-watching it several times like I did with The Ridiculous Menace. Definitely looking forward to the third installment.

I hate being that guy, but I just don't care for this one. I know that a tremendous amount of work was put into this by several of the folks here at FE and I do appreciate the cleverness. You people do really have some mad skilz.

I just didn't find myself enjoying it much. I had previously tried the first one and felt the same way. That's not to say I didn't get a chuckle here and there. The montage surrounding the Padme/Anakin hookup had me chuckling a bit and I liked some of the choices made for the voices. (3PO, Jar Jar). Also the song choices were good. (Shaft, I think I'm a clone now)

I certainly would encourage everyone to give it a try. It may just hit you right square in the funny bone. As for me, I'm gonna call 1800-DEAL-WITH-IT.

All hail Ric Ollie!

In AOTR all your favourite TRM gags are back in force like Ewan refering to himself in the third person, which gets funnier everytime I hear it. There are a mountains of new gags too, like renaming Count Dooku as "Duke Dooku", an idea so simple yet so funny. When Yoda says "DUKE DOOKU" in a super serious tone before the final duel I nearly fell off my couch with laughter.

The highlight for me is seeing Darth Maul's scooter still going round Tatooine. Also, Gob Bluth as Threepio, Krusty as Jar-Jar and the Naboo Picnic Monty Python reference are awesome. One criticism would be that the use of the 'Final Countdown' music wasn't extended to the entire edit! Very clever timing it to the mine explosions! The work that must have gone into replacing the majority of the sound, music and dialogue is impressive.

The penultimate shot of a huge fascistic parade ground filled with thousands of Tommy Wiseau clones may haunt me to my grave.

Even better than TRM. Roll on ROTR.

Great work Frink... may the Wookies be with you!

Audio/Video Quality = 7 (It's DVD quality, which is absolutely fine for a spoof)
Visual Editing = 9 (Clever work extending, remixing and looping footage)
Audio Editing = 9 (Must have been a nightmare replaceing what seemed like 80-90% of the audio)
Narrative = 8 (Its more or less unchanged but alot crazier!)
Enjoyment = 10 (Will have you crying with laughter)

It's difficult for me to review this one.
Not just because it is tricky to give a technical rating to such an edit but I really loved the first one and I should have loved this one the same but I think the fact that I am french prevented me to understand a lot of the jokes from the dialogue this time.
My english is okay, but not that good!
In the first edit there were also a lot of talkings but maybe less taken from other movies, or more understandable to me anyway.

That's not to say I did not like this second part: lots of visual ideas and inventivity and a lot of good laughs. As others comments said the "no" gag was an instant lol and I wish there were more of this type of joke instead of constantly playing with the dialogue.

random thoughts:
- The Dexter's scene was perfectly done. Bravo.
- Loved the whole Conruscant's chase segment and the dialogue between Obi and Anakin worked very well for me (just before they enter the bar for example)
- Fighting Yoda: hoohhooohoo!
- Jar jar's walk.
- "I want to ride my bicycle... And I don't like Star Wars" perfect.
- You found a way to have Ric Olié somehow still with us all along the edit and thank you for that.

So, for most of those who liked the first one I'm sure this edit is also for you. But if english is not your first language then maybe it will be more difficult to follow.
