Star Wars - Episode IV: 2004 Special Edition Revisited

What can be said about Star Wars Revisited that hasn't already been said? This is a near perfect revamp of the special edition of Star Wars, aside from a couple small changes that feel like change for the sake of change (Electric torture needle, ultra-desaturation of death star corridors, music during Obi/Vader duel), and a few effects that look a little fanmade. Of course, this edit was originally released before the Blu-Rays, so it is only available in SD. That said, I'm anxiously awaiting Empire Revisited and the eventual HD version!

I would change a few things though:
- The Death Star reveal scene could be revisited and that blue planet removed...
- The light on the syringe could be removed...
- TIE/LN attacking in swarms could be a little accelerated much like at the battle of Endor...

Finally got round to watching this, and it was fantastic. A massive improvement on the Special Edition and Bluray versions. I was blown away with the added effects, particularly in the final Death Star battle. The lightsaber effects were also fantastic. I look forwars to an eventual HD version!

Spectacularly well done. I believe this to be the definitive version of the movie. Changes that make sense! This truly shows what the special editions should have been.
I'm very much looking forward to ESB and ROTJ.

The updated laser/lightsaber effects look great. The attention to details is superb.
The sped up lightsaber duel: I like it because in the official version, the fight really stands out as being very slow and careful, very much unlike all the others.

Absolutely marvelous fan edit =) I would suggest removing a few things though:
- The new Death Star reveal scene, it is just like ESB and specially that blue planet bellow, a new revisit of the this scene could be cooler.
- The flashing needle.
