I just finished watching the movie with my whole family, and the consensus is unanimous. This edit is GREAT! I, being the biggest Star Wars fan/nerd in my family, noticed a lot more changes than the rest of them, but we all enjoyed it and don’t really disagree with any of the changes.
Until tonight none of them were really aware of the fanediting community, or that people ever would do fanedits. I think this gave them a really good first impression!
The only complaint we had was that in the final space battle and Death Star trench run, a lot of the time it seemed that the sound effects in the out-of-cockpit shots were louder than the speech in the inside-of-cockpit shots. It was obvious, but didn’t take away from the movie.
Anyway, we loved it! Thanks for this great fanedit.
