I really enjoyed the two stories being weaved together. As others have said, an odd episode to choose from the TNG era, and frankly an insult to the Enterprise cast. The editor makes the best of the odd material, and his attempts at reparation are of sound quality. As one reviewer suggested - treat the penultimate story of Enterprise as the finale, and then watch this edit afterwards.
The only criticism I have - and this is the fault of the original Enterprise episode, not the editor - is the sense of time. Would Riker have had all this free time during the mission to spend in the Holodeck?
Regardless, a nice edit which both extends a reasonable TNG episode and adds a better coda to Enterprise. In my mind, two solid reasons to take a look!
