I was just completing my re-watch of ST:TNG and was going to skip the movies in their entirety when this fanedit popped up.
I've seen the movies enough to not care to watch them ever again (except, perhaps, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country), but must say that this edit tightens-up an otherwise mediocre entry into the film franchise.
Nothing really changes in the overall narrative, but we are treated to a better, tighter version of the film without losing anything of any real significance.
I 100% recommend!
