Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - Ultimate Comics Cut

I didn't think it was possible, but Bobson has managed to create an improved version of my favourite superhero movie of all time.

With this pruning of the fascinating-but-incomprehensible Alt-Universe mode from the Blu-ray, which essentially showcased two completely different versions of the same film smashed together, the King of Extended Editions has expanded the already-rich emotional pallette of this rare deserved Oscar-winner to make Miles and Peter's payoffs with their respective family reunions all the more powerful.

Allow me to bestow the ultimate (har har) fan-edit compliment: "this will be my go-to version of the movie from now on."

I´ve have seen the updated version from this year (2021) and as others have already stated: ithis is just great. The deleted scenes/extended scenes may differ from the original movie, but i´ve grown very fond of them as they still work in this movie like a additional dimension. In a technical sense they´re seemlessly integrated. This replaces my bluray on my plex server:)

As far as the audio goes, i didn´t really notice any drops like macmillin stated (perhaps due to the updated version?).

A well deserved boost to an already wonderful film. I loved the theatrical cut, and enjoyed watching the extended Alt Uni Mode on the BluRay., but it felt too raw. Bobson's edit beautifully smooths out the rough ends and also masterfully trims a few tiny bits from the TC. I absolutely loved the changes.
Regarding the unfinished animation in the deleted/extended scenes - I personally treat those as another instance of the alternate dimensions merging and messing up reality.

Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this edit Some deleted scenes though visually incomplete add to the story and are easy to look past the rough quality.

Enjoyed this movie. Wish Sony had finished the animation on those extra scenes. But I definitely enjoyed it!
