Overall this was a very well made condensed version of the movie, despite leaving out the real ending. The story goes on past where this short ends to a later date, but before then there's a scene where the man and woman cast away their raft and shell and decide to stay together forever on the island. That would have made a fitting closing to this short if it could have worked. It was a bit abrupt the way it was, but still beautiful.

I noticed a single audio issue at 9 mins where a song cuts off strangely, and a random fade-out that did not match the rest of the film, but other than that it looked and sounded great.

MKV. Generally well put together. There's a drop in quality for a couple of the night shots, but otherwise things look very crisp. I noticed two audio fades, and a couple of visual cuts felt a bit quick. Narratively, I enjoyed it... till the end, which is very abrupt and left me a bit blank. I've been meaning to watch the film for some time, but this short is my first exposure and so that's my context. I guess I really just wasn't sure what the point of the narrative was or what was being put across thematically. At this point, I can't really judge whether that's the editor or the original film at fault.
