I LOVE this fan edit!!! It's got some great visuals (even for Last Survivor's second Fanedited in general, the audio is pitch perfect, and I feel more invested in the overall narrative of what is Daniel Craig's 2nd outing as Bond, and I hope to see all of Last Survivor's fan edits on 007 and be blown away by them!!!

I enjoyed the flashbacks with Vesper, it made it easy to understand what was happening. The opening music was a much better choice than the original sound track. Slowing down the action scenes made it more enjoyable to watch and easier to follow. Overall I prefer your version over the original any day. In the original car chase I had to slow the movie to see what was happening, in your version I did not have to do anything. The subtitles displayed for each of the city locations was a vast improvement over the original.

Thank you for your hand work, your are very talented with your edits.

Overall I enjoyed this edit and I think it helped the movie. There's not a lot to work with, so only so much can be done.

First, the good. Adding in the gun barrel Bond trope fits--it is kind of odd to not have it. Replacing the theme song was a decided improvement; I'm not 100% convinced of the P!nk song but it fits overall and is a massive improvement over the awful original.

Trimming the action sequences works. This is a Bond film, not a Bourne film, so the chases and fights shouldn't be the focus. In particular the opera sequence is fantastic IMHO. Going slow motion with just the music track get across the brutality of the fight without getting in the viewer's face about it. The Vesper flashbacks generally works. Same goes for the final hotel fight, though it isn't quite as effective. The technique helps to highlight Bond's state of mind.

Having a callback montage at the beginning is a good idea since this is a rare actual sequel film. Which segues me into the criticism. The initial sequence felt overlong. Probably picking up a couple of short clips then right to the sinking elevator and aftermath would be enough--not a summary of the entire Casino Royale.

Moving the Sienna chase to before the opening credit sequence also didn't work for me. It moved the credit sequence too far into the film--15 minutes or so in? It felt wrong.

As mentioned, some of the flashbacks to Vesper were a bit abrupt, even if appropriate.

With the cutting, the thin story and weak villain became almost secondary. It started to become more of Bond ignoring M's orders and avoiding getting caught by her and the other agents. Again, not much to work with here.

In the end I did enjoy the edit and it works, it's just not my favorite work by Last Survivor.

Interestingly, I've heard that if Diamonds Are Forever still had Lazenby, it would have had a early flashback scene of Tracy's death and thus become the first 007 revenge film. QOS had a second opportunity but again missed it but LastSurvivor's fan edit succeeds on doing this. The flashback scene compiled from Casino Royale as the pre-title opening and Vesper's theme occuring in the chorus pursuit scene effectively provides the lingering effects of Bond's loss. The opening title song while not bad but I would have prefer Eva Almer's "Forever" which was a rejected theme song for the film but hey, at least the gun barrel was placed correctly. The scenes in slow motion help give in the effect's of Bond looking for his solace which was a good idea to introduce to lessen the continuous action scenes that are terribly edited. I would love to see a blu-ray rip remake of this edit with new changes and I definitely give this a watch.

The flashbacks in this movie were a brilliant choice. It made the story feel much more connected to the first movie, and since Daniel Craig's version of Bond is meant to explain his origin, this is important. QoS is sorta meant to be a "chapter 2" to bond's beginning of how/why he came to be. At least that's the impression this movie gives you, and I liked it.

Some can nit pick about the title music change but what I care about is the story and this edit was magnificent. Thanks LS!
