I have now completed the 3 parts, I watched this part a week ago, and didn't get time to review until now.

I was so very impressed with part 1, that I was nervous yet excited to watch the rest. You earned my trust with part 1, showing me you had great skill, and wanted to tell the same narrative I wished for the show. The lack of the sideplot with the lawyer and the politics etc was a huge plus for me, that really was a let down in the first series, and am glad how elegantly you've extracted it.

I was completely on the edge of my seat again with part 2, the narrative is expertly edited, and felt extremely linear which can't have been easy.

You have a perfect fanedit here, I couldn't find one fault. My audience was mixed with people that had seen the original series, people that hadn't and both types of people were thoroughly captivated by this fanedit. We were all extremely eager to continue it, and my curiosity of how you ended the 3rd part grew strong.

Update sep 9 2012

This was my favourite part of the Prison Break series by Boon. The way the story plays out up til the attempted break out felt the most cohesive, and the most exciting. Great ride, and great editing.
There is still things that are rushed and or ignored, but as a whole the story feels remarkably intact.

Episode 2 is just as good as Episode 1. Also, Boon’s easter egg video does a great job showing how to cut out a subplot without creating too big of a wave.
10/10. Perfect.

Part 2 does not lack any of the great work done by CBB in Part 1. Still intriguing, still tightly edited, still entertaining and still better than the complete season. It ends on a nice cliff hanger and I since I fail to remember the solution, I eagerly look forward to the third part. This truly is a gift for us who want to re-visit Prison Break at a higher pace, yet get all the important twists and turns.

Impressive work, to say the least!

The second part of Boon’s Prison Break trilogy. A/V editing was better this time around. The narrative presented is nearly perfect. The edit has a great pace, which gradually builds. It's a real rollercoaster by the end.

Some thoughts I had whilst watching (all minor points):
Smart work removing the Lincoln breakout attempt subplot but keeping the consequences.
T-Bag setting up his friend was too heavily cut; it isn’t clear what happened.
The scene leading to T-Bag getting onto PI (him talking about New York, California, Saint Louis) was cut, so it isn’t entirely clear how he gets on – although it is implied since he doesn’t go down for Bob’s murder.
Not a fan of Tancredi’s stalking subplot in this, along with the “Michael has an enormous brain and is a saint” doctor, but that’s just me.
Tweener’s subplot was retained – a good choice, by the way – although I felt it could have been trimmed somewhat, in particular his introduction, which goes on for a little too long.
There is a slight narrative problem in that C-Note magically knows there is a hole in the ground (and its exact location), but there’s not much Boon could’ve done here to fix that as that entire subplot (Abruzzi being overthrown) was cut – another good choice.

Removing the conspiracy subplot is like removing the handcuffs from this show that prevented it from reaching its full potential. Bravo Boon.
