- Training Day was one of my favorite movies, so I liked that it was used as an introduction
- Zodiac: It's been a long time since I've seen Zodiac (but I remember liking it). I enjoyed this one. It lacked action which isn't a bad thing, just two detectives investigating. It felt like it could have been a scene from an episode of a TV show.
- Minority Report: This was another good short. Right to the point, and a story with a resolution.
- The French Connection: Another movie that I love. “Have you been picking your feet in Poughkeepsie?” This short was my least favorite of the three.
- Nice choice of song for the end credits

Three short stories about the working life of police officers. Necessarily short, and not always offering closure, but interesting all the same. I enjoyed these, and applaud Neglify's decision to include stories that don't have a simple conclusion because that's more like reality. (In a way, it's fitting that the only story with a simple ending is the most fantastic of the three...) The opening scene and credits were nice touches as well.

In terms of editing, this was great - audio and video were flawless as far as I could see, and the narratives were clear and straightforward in all cases. I would have liked to see a few more minutes of each story, but I think they work as they are now.

Interesting juxtaposition. Simple old fashioned examination and interrogation,
followed by futuristic technology. And yet, the heart and soul of the police work is
the same. Find out what happened, how it happened, who did it, attempt to apprehend
them. The third segment highlights the real old fashioned method. Deception,
intimidation, brutally extracting information. Bias, assumptions brought on by
prejudice. The barbarity that used to - and sadly, still can - pass for real
justice.

Four cool vingettes about cops doing their jobs in different styles and times.
Each segment is interesting by itself and it made me want to watch again those movies. And the whole is a pleasant watch.

Quite enjoyed this, using Training Day for the setup worked really well, rather than coherence I think the editor was going for contrasting methods, the reliance on technology in Minority Report, the methodical nature employed in Zodiac and the brute force approach in French Connection. It would have probably been better to have one of the stories set in the late 1800s/early 1900s 'From Hell' maybe? rather than having two movies set in the 70s but this was nicely edited and worth the time.
